The project Bionic experiments deals with the extraction of a principle of the bionic sciences and the transmission through an own translation into a freestanding design solution. Various experiments to explore and understand the principle further were implemented with creative methods to make it useful for the design discipline as a tool. The processual trials using different design tools and methods, were weekly reflected and fully documented with a conclusion of the ongoing process and experiments for a further plan of action. In the final step the extracted principle of bionics is applied to a product design.
